Dustin Randall Interview

Hey Dustin, thanks for taking the time do this interview with, our audience will enjoy ready about the stock car racing scene and also a bit about yourself as well! So tell us a bit about yourself, how did you get started into stock car racing and how long have you been racing? 

Dustin: I have been around cars for most of my life. Always in the shop helping Dad fix everything from lawn mowers to sleds to tractors to cars. That's how I originally got into racing, Dad built his first car. I have been racing my own cars for 13 years now.

Murray Dunn GM is excited to come on board as one of your major sponsors for this year, and that blue car looks fantastic with our logo on the side! Tell us a bit about your car you are racing this year.

Dustin: The car is a 1986 Monte Carlo and is an IMCA street stock. Bought it last year and have been working on it since to get it where is today.

I understand that the Tisdale Motor Speedway is home to more than just a few races this year, any highlights on that schedule and where can people find the schedule for the races being held at the Tisdale Motor Speedway?
Dustin: Main events are our demolition derby Sept 23 and our invitational Sept 30/Oct 1. New this year is our NIGHT race on August 19. We have never held one before and hoping it turns out well. Everyone can find our full schedule either on our Facebook page (Tisdale Motor Speedway) and on our website www.tisdalemotorspeedway.net.

Sounds like a busy summer ahead, we'll also post the schedule on our website so people can find it there as well. Do you yourself have any other events planned for this season in addition to your home races in Tisdale?
Dustin: Planning on doing Yorkton's invitational August 12/13 and Swan River's invitational August 5/6. We have a couple demo derbies we participate in and help with as well. There are other races we would like to go to but will see if they work out this year or not.

Sounds to me like you have a busy summer ahead of you! We won't keep you much longer so you can get back to making sure that car is ready to run at the front of the pack!
